Close Completion Timing on the Client List

Monitor whether closes were completed on time, late, or in progress - directly from the Client List.

Updated over a week ago

πŸ” What is it?

You’ll see a new visual column on the Client List that summarizes the status of month-end closes at a glance. Each symbol represents a monthly close:

  • 🟒 Green Circle β€” Close completed on time

  • πŸ”Ί Red Triangle β€” Close completed late

  • βšͺ Grey Circle β€” Close not yet completed

Each symbol = one month’s close. The column displays the current month and up to 6 months of close history so you can track performance over time.

πŸ“Š Why it matters

Timely month-end closes are a key benchmark for firm performance. With this feature, you can:

  • Make sure reporting deadlines are being met

  • Spot clients who consistently delay closes

  • Identify internal blockers and areas for process improvement

πŸ“ Where to find it

The close completion timing column is available on the Client List Page.

If you can't see it, check the 'Edit columns' section to turn on the Close Performance column for your views.

🧠 How it works

  • When a close is marked "Done", Keeper records the timestamp.

  • That timestamp is compared to the Close Due Date to determine if it was completed on time, late, or still in progress.

πŸ’‘ Tips

  • Hovering over the close performance column will show a tooltip with additional information.
