Publish reports your clients can interact with in their portal alongside your pdf report package. You can publish the following interactive reports:
Profit and Loss - with vendor/payee level drill-down
Balance Sheet - with vendor/payee level drill-down
Metrics Visuals

Note: Interactive reports in the client portal are only available for QBO-connected clients at this time.
Editing the Interactive Reports
The Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports reflect the reports found in the Final Review section of your client's close page. To make edits to these reports, return to the Close page and sync your edits to the ledger. Any changes made from the close page will be reflected in your draft interactive reports in the Reporting tab.
Changes made to views or timeframes in the draft report will not be reflected in the client portal. Interactive Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports default to showing the last 3 months by month, drilled down to the account level.
Your clients can change the date range, click the "Advanced controls" button to see additional options, and drill down to vendor/payee sub-totals from the client portal. Transaction level detail is not available internally in the Reporting section or in the client portal.
Metrics visuals can be edited by clicking the "Edit Visuals" button at the top of the report.
Publishing the Interactive Reports
You have the flexibility and control to publish any or all of the available reports to create the package that best suits your clients.
Click the Publish button in the top right of the Reporting module to bring up your options:
All reports will publish by default, but you can hold individual reports back by unchecking them or turning the toggle off for a group of reports.
Once you click the Publish button, all selected reports will be visible in the client portal.
Your Client's Experience with Interactive Reports
Your clients will see all of their published reports in the portal, grouped by month.
Monthly Report = standard monthly package in pdf viewer; client can view, download, and print.
Profit & Loss = Interactive report with custom timeframes, aggregations, and drill-down to vendor sub-totals.
Balance Sheet = Interactive report with custom timeframes, aggregations, and drill-down to vendor sub-totals.
Disabling Interactive Reports
To disable the interactive reports for your practice, navigate to Practice Settings --> Practice Management --> Statements and Reporting --> and unselect the checkbox from "Enable interactive financials in Client Portal."
You can enable this feature again at any time.
