What is an email alias?
What is an email alias?
An email alias is an email address you can use to send emails from that's not your primary address.
For example, if the user's primary email address is user@mail.com, and the email alias is alias@mail.com, any email sent from alias@mail.com will also show up in the user@mail.com outbox.
Email aliases are set up within a user's own email system, outside of Keeper. For more information on configuring an email alias, follow the links below:

How to change your sign-in email address
To change the email you use to sign into Keeper, go to your User Settings and click Edit Email.
Heads up!
This will change the email you use to login
If you change your login email, next time you try to login, you'll need to use the new email
If you're just looking to change the email you use to send emails to clients, see the instructions above for your Practice Email.
Subcontractor Email Setup
You can have another account with the same email, but you need to use a slight workaround.
If you add a plus sign in your email address, Keeper will treat the email as unique, while also sending all emails to the same email address.
This works because mail clients ignore anything that comes after a plus.
For example, if you have an account under firstname@example.com, you can add another account with the email address firstname+1@example.com, and all emails send to firstname+1@example.com will still go to the firstname@example.com inbox.
Email Service Upgrade
Action required by September 5th, 2024
We are upgrading the email service that powers your practice email on September 5th, 2024. This upgrade will make email delivery quicker and more reliable while also unlocking possibilities for enhanced features (like more powerful in-app email integrations).
Google users will not need to take any action to upgrade - this will happen automatically on the upgrade date. If your practice email is powered by Microsoft or another provider, you will need to re-authenticate your email connection by clicking on the banner on your client list dashboard. You will need to re-authenticate to avoid losing your email connection when the upgrade takes place.
