Task templates can be published to the Community Templates library to share best practices and workflows with the wider Double community.

Publishing a task template

To publish a template to the community template library

  • Select your Task template

  • Click "Duplicate"

  • Choose "To community templates"

Published templates will show a description of the template as well as the firm that created and published it.

If you need to edit a previously published template, click into the published template, make the necessary changes, and make sure to publish your changes.


Selecting a community template for your firm

To explore available community templates, navigate to Templates → Browse Community. Templates can be searched by category or sorted by Most Popular and Newest Published options.

To copy a community template to the firm, select the desired template and click Copy to Firm. If the template includes custom task sections, map the template’s sections to the firm’s existing sections or select the gear icon → Manage Sections to add new ones.

After a community template has been copied to your firm, it can be applied to clients as needed. Updates made to the original published community template will not affect the copied version or any instances already applied to clients.
