Updated over a week ago

Copying tasks is an important part of reducing the setup required for each new client you add to Keeper.

There are a few ways to copy tasks between clients in Keeper!

Closing Tasks

Adding a New Client

When adding a new client, users can copy any custom tasks that you've created for an existing client. This includes non-closing and closing tasks when choosing this option. This will also copy over custom due dates and assignees that you have added for the existing client!

To copy all tasks from an existing client to a new client,

  1. From the Client List, select Add Client

  2. Select Copy from existing client

  3. Choose the applicable client from the drop down options.

Non-Closing Tasks

From the Close Page

To copy non-closing tasks from one client to another,

  1. Navigate to the Non-closing tasks section,

  2. Select the '...' option to the right of the task section

  3. From the drop down options, choose Copy non-closing tasks from

  4. Choose the client and select the tasks you wish to copy over

    1. The display will break these tasks up between due date attributes (Non-Recurring and Recurring Tasks)

  5. Add!
