The best way to request bank statements from your clients is by setting up recurring non-transaction questions for each bank statement that you need.

When creating a Recurring Non-Transaction Question, you'll now see a “Notify client” checkbox at the bottom of the modal. Check this to activate recurring email notifications for that specific question. The client will receive an email notification at 8:00 AM EST on the scheduled day when the question is added to the Client Portal.

💡 We recommend creating one recurring question for each statement you request from your clients. That way, if they can only get you one statement, they'll still be able to see the other statements you need from them next time they go to their Portal.
